01 — Art Factory set up the workspace

Pet rock parties can be held around your kitchen or dining table. We have extra tables we can bring along if required. Sheets will protect your table. If your house is not appropriate to host the party we can advise about alternate venues.

02 — Intro and demonstration - 15 mins

Space rocks have landed! First we will meet a selection of example Art Factory pet rocks to enthuse and inspire, as well as sharing some techniques to help everyone get amazing results.

03 — Painting session part 1 - 45 mins

This is where pet rocks come to life - under careful supervision, we will create incredible characters with paint pens and optional googly eyes, and then create a cozy habitat that’s decorated too - including a name plaque with their feeding habits and likes…

04 — Break for cake / food - 30 mins

This bit is all you will need to organise for your party. There isn’t any need for going home presents either - everyone will leave with a new pet rock friend (or two!)

05 — Painting session part 2 - 30 mins

Once everyone has taken a break and the paint has dried, we can refine the pet rocks and decorate their box homes. This is also the part where relatives of pet rocks often get created to keep them company - and their life stories emerge!
